STREND Challenge

Get Stronger, Run Faster, Increase Stamina!!! The STREND Challenge is YOUR personal measuring gauge to chart your fitness progress month to month.  On the first Sunday of every month (at a predetermined location) all are welcome to challenge themselves in less than 1 hour on a full anaerobic & cardio fitness course with results charted and e-mailed to you for your own personal use.

The STREND Challenge consists of the following supersets:

60 Seconds NON-Stop Activity & 60 Second Rest before next Fitness Challenge:

Anaerobic Challenge:
Abdominal crunches
Push-ups
Tricep Dips
Resistant Band Bicep Curls
Resistant Band Shoulder Press

Aerobic Challenge:
Jump-Rope
40 yard. Dash/Sprint
4 Minute of Stair Running
1 Mile Run

The STREND Challenge reps are counted using the “honor-system”.  Again, this is YOUR challenge so there is no need to feel the pressure to compete with the other athletes in the group. At the end of each minute/exercise I will ask for your counted reps, I chart the results and e-mail them to you with the rest of the members who participated that morning.
